Dixie L. Meegge

1918 - 2011

Dixie L. Meegge, 92, of Bath, passed away at Havana Health Care at 7:55 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2011. She was born September 6, 1918 in Bath to Bert and Maude (Forsythe) Landers. She married William Meegge on September 25, 1937. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1975.

Mrs. Meegge is survived by one nephew, Jeff Long of Peoria and one brother, Major (Ruth) Landes of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Bath Cemetery. Fr. James Fedosuk will officiate.
