Havana, IL - Dolores
Louise Myers, 74, of
Havana passed away at 8:45 pm Thurs.,
Oct. 30, 2008 at her residence. She was born
Aug. 26, 1934 in
Peoria, IL the daughter of Jerry and
Mildred Shepard Jollye. She married Clarence
Myers Oct. 26, 1954 in Peoria and he survives.
Mrs. Myers was a member of Christ Lutheran
Church in Peoria and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
in Havana. She retired from the Mason County
tree nursery in 2002 after 20 years of service.
In addition to her husband she is survived by
two sons, Charles Donald (Kim) Myers of
Peoria and Timothy Michael (Michelle)
Myers of Havana and three daughters, Becky
Louise (Roy) Hostetler of Ashland, OH, Bonny Sue
(Randy) Edwards of
Theodosia, MO and Angela Joy (Irvin) King
of Havana. Also surviving are eleven
grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one
brother, Harold (Sutie) Jollye of Tennessee. She
was preceded in death by one son Ricky Lee Myers
and one sister, Judith VanDusen.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Tues., Nov.
4, 2008 at
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana,
conducted by Pastor Martin Liebmann. Burial will
be in the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the
service at the church on Tuesday. Memorial
contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran
Church of Havana. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana
is in charge of arrangements.
