Donald Pfeiffer

Donald Arthur Pfeiffer, 85, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born on June 9, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Arthur Daniel and Clara Bockins Pfeiffer. He married Marian Goss on June 6, 1966 in Chicago.

His wife, Marian of Petersburg; daughter, Dawn Ann Pfeiffer or Arlington, TX; son, Tom Pfeiffer of Wheeling, IL; stepson, Guy R. Zola of Oregon; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild survive him.

Mr. Pfeiffer worked as an telephone directory advertising salesman for Yellow Pages in Chicago. He received a Bachelors Degree in English literature at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

He was a US Navy veteran.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
