Donald Eugene Bingham 1940 - 2010 Donald E. Bingham, 69, of White Pine, TN, formerly of Chandlerville, died Sunday, February 7, 2010, son of Elmer and Grace Bingham. He was born December 5, 1940. He married Patsy Birdsell on September 25, 1966. She survives. Additional surviving family includes two daughters, Donna (Steve) Bettis of Chandlerville, Cathy (Jamie) Robison of Chandlerville, son Eugene (Lee Ann) Bingham of White Pine, TN. He has 3 granddaughters, Kimberly, Grace Jaylynn Bingham and two grandsons, Gilbert and Jacob Robison, two brothers, Leland of Virginia and Kenneth of Springfield and one sister, Dorothy Bostic of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his dad, mom, brother, Estel, sister, Eva Snider. He has several nieces & nephews, two cousins, Eva and Hanna Blair. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Chandlerville. He graduated in 1959 in Virginia. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. He is a member of the American Legion Post 0694 for 37 years. He worked as a farm hand for Taylor Farms of Virginia for 15 years, followed by 8 years at Dana Corp of Havana, and 22 years at Mobile Chemical / Pactiv of Jacksonville where he retired due to illness in 2005. Funeral services will be held by Pastor Duane Turley at Bethel Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on February 12, 2010. Visitation will be held at the Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow the services at Chandlerville Cemetery with military honors.
