Donald F. Walraven, Sr. 84 of 520 Village Road Port Lavaca, TX. died on February 7, 2005 at Port Lavaca Nursing Home & Rehab. He was born on December 3, 1920 in Havana, IL. to Carl Walraven and Cordia Graham. He married Marie Euteneuer on February 26, 1946 in Havana, IL., she died on August 24, 2000.

He has two sons- Fred (Kelly) Walraven of Springfield, IL. and Harole (Nancy) Walraven of Port Lavaca, TX.. Two daughters- Vicki (Rudy) Resendez of Port Lavaca, TX. and Donna Walraven of Champaign, IL.. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife.

He was a 32nd degree Mason, served in the Signal Corps. and in the US Army in WWII. He was a retired Movie Theatre Owner and Businessman. He worked for many years for Keresotes and then moved to Port Lavaca to purchase Twin Dolphins Cinemas and 2 Apt. Buildings.

Services were held on February 11, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 10 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
