Don Wayne Brant

1946 - 2008

Don Wayne Brant, 62, of Mason City died at 1:20 p.m. on September 3, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield , IL .  He was born to William and Betty (Jones) Brant in Cumberland , Maryland .  He married Vergie McMillan in Lincoln , IL she survives.

Survivors are three daughters: Rhonda (Rod) Colvin of Waverly, IL, Tina (Steve) Turner of Bluffs, IL, and Many Brant of Mason City; one son: Bill McMillan of St. Louis Mo. ; two grandchildren; Kori Brant and Steven Turner of Bluffs, IL, one brother; Roger (Mary) Brant of Cumberland Maryland and one sister Linda Bowers also from Cumberland and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother; Gary Brant and his parents.

Funeral Services will be Monday September 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. James Sprinkel officiating.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City .  Burial will be at Mason City Cemetery .  Memorials may be left to the family.
