Donna Woolsey

Donna Kay Woolsey, 63, of Springfield, passed away on June 24, 2011 at 4:07 pm at Memorial Medical Center. She was born on March 6, 1948 in Rosiclare, IL to Troy and Rowena Crowell Jackson. She had been married to Gary Woolsey.

Donna is survived by a son, Terry (Tonya) Woolsey of Petersburg; a daughter, Michelle Woolsey of Petersburg; and three brothers, Charles Jackson of Crane Ville, Roy Jackson of Rosiclare, Larry Jackson of Carrier Mills.

Her sister, Virginia Jackson, preceded her in death.

Donna had worked as a beautician in Salisbury, Pleasant Plains, Chatham, and New Salem Station.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rock Creek Presbyterian Church. Rev. Keith Masten will be officiating. A meal and gathering will follow the memorial service until 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family to assist with funeral expenses.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
