Deloras Faye "Dorey" Clayton

Deloras Faye “Dorey” Clayton, 74, of Havana, passed away at 4:34 p.m. at Havana Health Care Center on Saturday, April, 2, 2011. She was born August 30, 1936 in Chandlerville, IL to Alvia and Pauline (Witheral) Ray. She married Delbert Clayton on September 14, 1956 in Havana.

Mrs. Clayton is survived by her husband of Havana, daughter, Lori (Dennis) Morgan of Havana, son Logan (Liz) Clayton of Auburn and three grandchildren, Megan and Chase Morgan and Alec Clayton. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Clayton was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. She and her husband were former owners of the Montgomery Ward catalog store in Havana.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Hickory Cemetery in Fulton County. Rev. Bill Boyce and Warren Hughes will officiate.
