— Doris Mae Erickson, 84,of
, Springfield,
formerly of Petersburg, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005,
at Regency
Nurs
ing Home in
Springfield. She was born Sept. 14, 1921, in
Wichita,
Kan., the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle Cale Kendall.
She married
Marvin Erickson in
1942 in
Wichita; he died in 1997.
Mrs. Erickson was a homemaker
and member
of several antique and
bridge
clubs. She volunteered for
the Red
Cross and a VA hospital.
Survivors: two daughters, Karen
Johnson of
Springfield and Debbie
(husband,
Lee) Halberg of Glen
Ellyn; four
grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren;
two brothers,
Ted Kendall
of Wichita and Bert
Kendall of
Bethel Park, Pa.; and sister, Bonnie Frances of Wichita; and
many nieces
and nephews.
