Doris E. Hoesman (1920 - 2006)
Doris E. Hoesman, 86, of rural
Chandlerville, IL died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday February 4, 2006 at the Mason
City Area Nursing Home. She was born January 7, 1920 to John Ford and Mary
Margaret (Snyder) Blair in Chandlerville. She married Jerveaux Hoesman in
Bath, IL on July 20, 1940. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1994.
She is survived by one son: Albert
(Nancy) Hoesman of Chandlerville; two daughters: Mary Mae (Roy) Kunzeman of
Jacksonville, IL and Marilyn Hoesman of Springfield, IL; three
grandchildren: Fred (companion Jackie Huelsmann) Kunzemann of Jacksonville,
IL, Kimberly (Bob) Fields of St. Louis, MO and Melinda (Brad) Young of
Jacksonville, IL. Also surviving are ten step-grandchildren, five great
grandchildren, twenty-two step great-grandchildren and four step Great Great
grandchildren. She has three brothers; Willis (Lynetta) Blair, John
(Shirley) Blair and Paul (Verna) Blair all of Chandlerville and three
sisters: Beulah (Cloyd) Ishmael of Chandlerville, Claudine (Alvin) Pepmeyer
of Havana and Eleanor Sandidge of Chandlerville, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Frank
Blair.
She was a member of the Fairview
Methodist Church at Snicarte.
Funeral Services will be held on
Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at her church. Rev. Mike Hopps will
officiate. Visitation will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on
Monday, Feb. 6 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Fairview
Cemetery.
Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in
Chandlerville is in charge of arrangements.
