Dorothy F. Beaty

(1913 - 2008)

Dorothy Frances Beaty, 95, of Petersburg, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Sunny Acres Home. She was born on August 28, 1913 in Prentice, IL to John C. and May Lockett Able. She married Chester Lee Beaty in 1943.

She is survived by two daughters, Betty (Richard) Raymond of Colchester, IL and Mary Lee Beaty of Chandlerville; two sons, Robert Henry Beaty and Jimmie Dale Beaty both of Chandlerville; and one grandchild.

Her husband preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 11:00 am at Rose Hill Cemetery. Rev. Abraham Mogerman will be officiating.
