Dorothy L. Fielden

1925 - 2011

Dorothy L. Fielden, 85, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 9:45 pm at Sunny Acres Home. She was born on Dec. 15, 1925 in Petersburg to Edward and Anna Louise Doyen Godbey. She married Clark Fielden in 1948, he preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by a son, Bill (wife Jane) Fielden of Bath, IL and a sister, Evelyn Rebbe of Petersburg; five grandchildren; Don Fielden, Michael Fielden, Jennifer (husband Troy) Showalter, Susan Fielden, John Fielden and one great grand daughter, Erin Fielden. Two sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.

Dorothy was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg and had worked for the Secretary of State’s office, retiring after 25 years.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
