Dorothy B. Strycharske (1915-2005) Dorothy B. Strycharske, 90, of New Holland, IL, formerly of Birnamwood, WI and Punta Gorda, FL died at 8:25 a.m. on December 23, 2005 in the Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was born to Leo and Francis (Landowski) Belke on February 6, 1915 in Wausau, Wisconsin. She married Clarence Strycharske on Memorial Day 1938. He preceded her in death on July 13, 1992. She is survived by three daughters; Agatha (James) Wood of Neenah, WI, Patricia (John) Dyreson of Fitchburg, WI, Anne (James) Struebing of New Holland, IL; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. Also surviving is one sister, Agatha Kosy of Mesa, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six brothers and sisters and one grandchild. She was a member of the Catholic Church where she had served as president of the Christian Mothers. She worked as an elementary teacher. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa, WI at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Mason City Area Nursing Home in Mason City, Illinois. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements. |
