Dorothy Wiseman
(1924 - 2006)
Dorothy Wiseman, 81, of Petersburg,
died on February 3, 2006 at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was
born on October 13, 1924 in Menard County to Henry and Marie Carstenjohanns
Rothert. She married David Wiseman in Petersburg on September 18, 1949.
She is survived by two daughters:
Karen Aiken of Athens and Betty Jean (David) Poe of Chatham; two grandchildren;
and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one
sister Henrietta Margaret Rothert.
She was a member of the Bethlehem
Lutheran Church, the Home Bureau, and Beta Sigma Phi Society. She was a book
keeper at the Dodge/Plymoth Dealership in Petersburg.
Funeral Services will be held on
Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home. Pastor Jeffrey
Gross will officiate. Visitation will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in
Petersburg on Monday, Feb. 6 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Rose
Hill Cemetery.
