Dorothy Mae Buesking 1926 - 2008 Dorothy Mae (Hasty) Buesking, 81, of Lewistown, IL, died at Graham Hospital in Canton, IL at 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2008. She was born March 3, 1926 in Nebraska to Charles and Allie Hasty. She married Louis Busking and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Buesking is survived by one daughter: Donna (Lee) Lusk of Follett, TX, three sons: Robert Dickson of Havana, Glenn W. “Spec” (Shirley) Carter Jr. of Emden and Christopher Joe Hasty of Blountstown, FL, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers: Joe, Orville, Wayne and Otis Hasty and two sisters: Vivian Stone and Betty Klinedinst. She was preceded in death by one son, Robin Eugene Dickson, two brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Buesking was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, the National V.F.W., American Legion, Odd Fellows, and had served as VFW Auxillary President in both Lincoln and Havana. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.
