Dorothy Mae Kreiling

1930 - 2010

Dorothy Mae Kreiling, 79, of Havana, passed away at Mason District Hospital in Havana at 3:10 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2010. She was born December 15, 1930 in Havana to George and Alma (Kreiling) Glick. She married Louis Dale Kreiling, January 4, 1953 in Havana. He preceded her in death on April 10, 1990.

Mrs. Kreiling is survived by four sons, Gerald (Teri) Kreiling of Pekin, Jim (Stephanie) Kreiling of Easton, Daryl Kreiling of Mason City, Douglas (Margo) Kreiling of Easton, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Evelena Dierker of Manito. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter-in-law, Cindy Kreiling.

Mrs. Kreiling is a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana, where she was  a member of the Altar Guild. She had served on the Mason District Hospital Auxillary board and had volunteered since 1991. She was named the 1995-1996 Auxillary Volunteer of the Year.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Martin W. Liebmann, Jr. will officiate.
