Dennis Duane Danner

1946 - 2010

Dennis Duane Danner, 64, of Havana, passed away in rural Cass Co. at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 31, 2010. He was born June 11, 1946 in Canton, IL to Duane B. and Lou Nellie (Watson) Danner.

Mr. Danner is survived by three sons, Robert (Chris) Danner of Lake Villa, IL, Travis (Tammy) Danner of Havana, Wade (Mary) Danner of Chandlerville and seven grandchildren, Cole, Reagan, Tyler, Trey, Grace, Taylor and Zoe. He is also survived by one brother, David (Karen) Danner of Bernadotte, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Danner is a member of VFW Post #6408 in Havana and Legion Post #17in Ipava. He served in the US Navy from 1966 until 1971. He worked at Caterpillar Inc. for 42 years, retiring as a Safety Supervisor in 2009.

Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2010. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
