Edward Gardner
1956 - 2007
Havana, IL - Edward Gardner, 50, of Havana, formerly of
Kilbourne, IL passed away at 2:03 am Sat. June 2, 2007 at the Methodist Medical
Center in Peoria. He was born Oct. 26, 1956 in Chicago to Charles and Elizabeth
Kostkia Gardner. He married Carthie Kelley March 11, 1989 in Kilbourne and she
survives.
Mr.Gardner worked as a handyman.
He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Gardner of Peoria
and Bessie Kelley of Champaign, two ½ brothers, Clarence Husile of Chicago and
Robert Husile of Rockford, IL; four ½ sisters, Mary Lou (Robert) Engglehart of
Chicago, Sylvia Fitzwater of Chicago; Glendora Johnson of Florida and Lucy
(Greg) Schmidt of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are four step brothers, Fred
(Mary) Tribbett. Chester Tribbett, Howard (Pam) Tribbett and John Tamulis all of
Kilbourne, and two step sisters, Joy Tribbett of Little Rock, AR and Rose Grubb
of Richmond, AR. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great
great nieces and great great nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by
his parents, step-father, Albert Heck, step-mother, Rose Heck, a ½ brother Wally
Husile and one step brother, Billy Tribbett.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday June 4, 2007 at the Hurley Funeral Home
in Havana. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Online
