1937 - 2011

Edgar Clarence Moore II, 73, of Dallas,TX, formerly of Bath, passed away at his home at 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2011. He was born April 15, 1937 in Bath, IL to Jewell L. and Flavilla (Seward) Moore. He married Noretta Finch on June 7, 1959 in Bath.

Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Noretta, of Dallas, daughter, Dawn (Jeffrey) Ayres of Plano, TX, son Alex (Elizabeth) Moore of Alworth, GA, five grandchildren, Austin and Cameron Ayres, Alex Jr., Eric and Lauren Moore. Also surviving is one brother, Trevor (Kim) Moore of Pinkneyville, IL as well as four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr. Moore had worked many years as an agent for Carpet Mills.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the services at Bath Cemetery. Rev. Norman Fletcher will officiate.
