Edna F. Pond Woodrum

(1910 - 2006)

Edna Florence Pond Woodrum, 95, of Petersburg, died on February 25, 2006 at the Menard Convalescent Center in Petersburg. She was born on December 3, 1910 in Tallula, IL to Stephen And Anne Monroe Clark. She married Stanley Pond, he preceded her in death in 1972. She later married Hugh Woodrum, also preceded her in death in 1986.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Pond of Tallula, IL, Keith (Barb) Pond of Mt. Airy, MD, and Michael (Barb) Pond of Grandview, MO; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both husbands, four brothers, one sister, and one grandchild.

She was a member of the Tallula Christian Church, Tallula Legion Auxillary, and Tallula Senior Citizens. She retired from Memorial Medical Center after 14 yrs as a supply clerk. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Greenwood Cemetery in Tallula, IL. Rev. Wayne Meyer will be officiating.
