Kilbourne, IL - Eileen Bell, 90, of Kilbourne passed away at 5:31 pm Sun. May 28, 2006 at Havana Healthcare Center. She was born Oct. 4, 1915 in Oakford, IL the daughter of Clarence and Cora Dawson Stroh. She married Gilbert I. Bell Aug. 25, 1939 in Petersburg, IL and he died March 31, 1994.
Mrs. Bell was a lifetime member of the Kilbourne Baptist Church, a member of the Mason County Home Extension, a former teacher and home maker. She received her teaching degree from Western Illinois University.
She is survived by two daughters, Roxie Toland of Springfield, IL and Kristine (Dennis) Skaggs of Havana; two sons, Gary (Joyce) Bell of Kilbourne and Randall (Arlis) Bell of Havana; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Stroh and one sister, Faye Taylor.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Wed. May 31, 2006 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Mike Stroh with burial in the Kilbourne Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service (from 10:00 until 11:00 am). Memorial contributions may be made to the Kilbourne Fire Department.
