Elaine Frye

Havana, IL - Elaine Frye, 79, of Bourbonnais, IL formerly of Havana passed away at 10:00 pm Sun., June 25, 2006 at Manor Care in Kankakee, IL. She was born Dec. 7, 1926 near Topeka, IL the daughter of Walter and Edith Keith Kleier. She married Eldon Frye Feb. 22, 1947 at Topeka, IL and he survives.

Mrs. Frye was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, St. Paul’s Ladies Aid and St. Paul’s Altar Guild. She was a home maker and had worked for several years at Knoles Flowers in Havana.

She is survived by one daughter, Pam (Kerry) Adams of Bourbonnais; one son, Terry Frye of Petersburg, IL; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Marian (Paul) Blakeley of Ellisville, MO and Rosalyn (Eldon) Yetter of Havana.

Services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday June 29, 2006 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana conducted by Pastors Martin W. Liebmann and John H. Beiderwieden. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery at Havana. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 10:30 am Thursday at her church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church building fund in Kankakee, the Alzheimer Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
