Eleanor Irene Baney

(1914 - 2006)

Eleanor Irene Baney, 91, of Petersburg, died on June 14, 2006 at the Sunny Acres Home. She was born on August 28, 1914 in Decatur, IL to Herschel and Laura Hughes Dixon. She married Tony Brady. He preceded her in death in 1945. She later married Delbert Baney. He also preceded her in death in 1993. 

She is survived by one son, Ronald Dean (Connie Jo) Brady of Petersburg; one step son, William (Fern) Baney of Decatur; twelve grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be on Monday, June 19, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Athens Christian Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Decatur.
