Eleanore L. Stolba

1917 - 2006

Havana, IL - Eleanore L. Stolba, 88, of Havana, IL formerly of Monmouth, IL passed away at 5:55 pm June 3, 2006 at the Mason District Hospital in Havana. She was born Sept. 25, 1917 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Benjamin and Rose Pepinski Koscinski. She married Louis J. Stolba Sept. 7, 1937 at Stephens Point, WI. He passed away in June of 2003.

Mrs. Stolba was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Monmouth and a retired nurse formerly working at the Miami Heart Institute for many years. She also volunteered at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, IL.

She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Stolba of Havana; Louis E. Stolba of Tallahassee, FL and one daughter, Ann Lumley of St. Petersburg, FL. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband and four brothers.

Services will be held at 10:00 am Sat. June 10, 2006 at the First Lutheran Church in Monmouth conducted by Rev. Keith Killinger. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the building fund of Mason District Hospital in Havana.
