Ella M. Hahn

(1923-2010)

Ella M. Hahn, 87 of Delavan, formerly of Chassahowitzka, FL, died at 12:12am on September 5, 2010 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home.  She was born on May 30, 1923 the daughter of Bedford and Erma (Cosby) Doss in Allen County Kentucky.  She married Jerry Hahn on October 12, 1947; he died March 24, 2001. 

Survivors include two daughters: Lynnae (Paul) Bessler and Lynnette (Roger) Eeten both of Delavan; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Doris (Robert) Wolfe of Springfield, and one brother in law: John (Kathy) Hahn of Elgin, IL.  Mrs. Hahn is also preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and one great-grandchild.  

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A graveside service will held on September 25, 2010 at 3:00pm at the Hartsburg Cemetery.  Memorials may be left to the Harbor Lights Hospice or Delavan Ambulance.  Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements.
