Havana, IL - Elmer F. "Buster" Todd, 77, of 609
N. Harpham St., Havana passed away at 5:45 pm Fri. Sept. 22, 2006 at Havana
Healthcare Center. He was born Feb. 10, 1929 in Alsey, IL the son of Jesse
and Freda Mae Rimby Todd.
Buster worked at Stroh-Anderson concrete in Petersburg for 25 years and later at Brauer Pork near Oakford. He was a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army. He is survived by one granddaughter, Brandy (Jeremy) Thomas of Havana; one great grandson, Andrew Thomas of Havana; one brother, Milo (Dolly) Todd of Greenview, IL; seven sisters, Dixie (Harry) Seiss of Pekin, IL, Lois Lucille (Joe) Gibson of Centertown, MO, Hazel Jane (Ronald) Beard of Tallula, IL, Mary Lou (Jerry) Hopping of Atterberry, Jessie Phillips of Peoria, IL, Cheryl L. (Chico) Chabez of Williamsville, IL, Mildred (Ed) Yeaman of Peoria, IL; and his step-mother, Hazel Todd of Peoria. Several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Wanda Cowan, one sister, Mary Jane McDaniel, one brother, Clarence Todd and his parents. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tues. Sept. 26. 2006 at Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to Havana Healthcare Patient Activity Fund.
