Emerson E. Crawford

(1911 - 2006)

PETERSBURG -  Emerson Everett Crawford, 94,  died at Sunny Acres Home at 11:45 PM on January 12, 2006.  He was born in Petersburg, IL on October 31, 1911 to  John And Elizabeth Rogers Crawford. He married Marjorie Cline in Athens, IL on October 23, 1942. She survives.

Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Marjorie of Petersburg; one son: John (Lucretia) Crawford of Clinton, IL; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two brothers. 

Mr. Rigor was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church of Petersburg, where he was an elder.  He was a member of the Masons and the Shriners.  He was a retired farmer.  

Funeral services for Mr. Crawford will be at 11 PM, Monday, January 16, 2006 at the Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg,  IL with visitation from 9 AM till 11 PM at the church.  

Memorials may be made to the Kemmerer Village in Assumption, IL, the Illinois Chapter of the Red Cross, or Menard County Rescue Squad.
