Esther M. Barrington

1920 - 2007

Esther M. Barrington, 87, of 1151 N. 8^th St., Springfield passed away on Fri. July 13, 2007 at her residence. She was born June 20, 1920 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Adam And Martha Radeanouski Rade.

She worked as a housekeeper for St. John’s Hospital in Springfield for 24 years and also at the EPA building in Springfield.

Mrs. Barrington is survived by one daughter, Georgia (Jon) Petty of Havana, one son, Robert Wayne (Shirley) Shriver of Decatur, IL eleven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Alma Hutson of Florida and Dorothy Horton of Morton, IL. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters; one daughter, Norma Jean Burson; two grandchildren and one great grandson.

Services will be held at 11:00 am Tues., July 17, 2007 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Rick Braun. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hurleyfh.com
