Ethel DeHart

(1910 - 2005)

Ethel Ann Arabelle DeHart, 94,died Thursday, May 5 at the Lewis Memorial Christian Village. She was born November 11, 1910 in Lincoln, IL, the daughter of John and Barbara Leishman Gordon. SHe married Charles DeHart on June 7, 1938 in Champaign. He died on April 24, 1988.

She was a retired school teacher. SHe taught country schools in Logan County, and schools in Greenview and Springfield. She was a member Greenview Christian Church, Rebekah Lodge #9 in Lincoln, IL, American Legion Auxillary in Greenview and Illinois Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by two sons, David (Georgia) DeHart of Des Plaines, IL, and Charles W. DeHart of Wentzville, MO, and two grandchildren.

Services are on May 9, 2005 at the Greenview Christian Church. Visitation will be an hour before. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery.
