Evelyn E. Rich

1934 - 2010

Evelyn E. Rich, 76, of Chandlerville, passed away at her home at 3:55 p.m. on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. She was born January 22, 1934 in Panther Creek Township in Cass Co., to Javan H. and Lois E. (Brown) Cox.

Mrs. Rich is survived by three sons, Danny (Lynette) Rich, Darrell (Connie) Rich, Dennis (Linda) Rich, all of Chandlerville, daughter, Debbie (Mike) Wooldridge of Ashland, ex-husband, Ned Junior Rich of Bath, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, JoAnn (Roy) Harms of Virginia, IL, Jackie (Mike) Martin of Little America, IL and brother, Henry (Ellen) Cox of Chandlerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Diane Eilers Rich, great-granddaughter Natalie Krohe and one brother, Robert Taylor.

Mrs. Rich was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was a loving grandma who enjoyed her family, fishing, mushroom hunting and gardening.

Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville. Rev. Duane Turley will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Bethel Cemetery.
