Everett Crawford

(1934-2005)

Everett Lee Crawford died 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville.  He was born September 25, 1934 in Greenvalley, IL to Harlan E. and Zelma (Griffin) Crawford. 

Survivors include three sons: Randall L. Crawford of Merrett Island, Florida, Steven Crawford of Decatur, Illinois, and David (Manuella) Crawford of Germany; one daughter: Jody (Dave) Fitzsimmons of Mattoon, Illinois; two brothers: Gene (Diane) Crawford of Eyota, Minnesota, Joe David Crawford of Texas; one sister: Wanda (Donald) Beebe of Mason City, Illinois and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Mr. Crawford served in the Army during the Korea War.  He was a barber, member of the American Legion Jackson Keen Post #496, and the First Christian Church of Mason City.

Services for Mr. Crawford will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City.  The Rev. Robert Paddack will be officiating with burial in Mason City Cemetery. The visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #496.
