Evert Lane Bradley

(1921 - 2006)

Evert Lane Bradley, 84, of Urbana, formerly of Mason City died at Clark Lindsey Village in Urbana at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2006. He was born on October 21, 1921 in Mason City, IL to Evert and May (Dunn) Bradley. He married Dorothy Ada Drennan on February 1, 1957 in Mason City. She preceded him in death on March 17, 2004

Mr. Bradley is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He was a former member of the Mason County Farm Bureau,  the American Legion and a Life Member of the AmVets. He was a member of the United States Army during WWII from 1942 until 1946 in the Pacific Theatre. After returning from the war, he farmed for the rest of his life on his family farm, just South of Mason City.  

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2006 at the Mason City Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City. Mrs. Darlene Herbsleb will officiate.
