Faye Edna Cunningham (1924 - 2005) Faye Edna Cunningham, 81 of Mason City, died at Memorial Hospital in Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on December 27, 2005. She was born on her family’s farm near San Jose, IL on September 26, 1924 to A.D. and Gladys (Lawson) Ingersoll. She married Robert Cunningham in San Jose on April 27, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2005. Mrs. Cunningham is survived by two daughters: Kathy (Dick) McLaughlin of Mason City and Sue (Ron) Sanert of Petersburg, IL; one son Ken (Sandi) Cunningham of Mason City; seven grandsons; Tyler Robert Cunningham of St. Louis, Bryce Cunningham of Peoria, Spencer Cunningham of Mason City, Darren (Karen) McLaughlin of Pesotum, Dakin (Theresa) Sanert of Springfield, Seth Sanert of West Point, NY, Chase Sanert of Petersburg, one granddaughter; Armorelle (Troy) Cook of Jacksonville and two great-grandsons; Connor and Rowan Robert Cook of Jacksonville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Marvin Lee Ingersoll. Mrs. Cunningham was a graduate of San Jose High School, class of 1942. She was a member of the Mason City United Methodist Church and worked as a business manager for her husband Robert at the Robert Cunningham Agency in Mason City for many years. Funeral services for Mrs. Cunningham will be held on Friday, December 30, 2005 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City at 11:30 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 to 11:30. Burial will be at Mason City Cemetery following the services. Memorials may be made to the Mason City Area Nursing Home, her church or the Mason City Food Pantry. Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City is in charge of arrangements. |
