Florence Hazel Goodin 1914 - 2007 Florence Hazel Goodin, 92, of Pinson, Al, formerly of Mason City, died at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham, AL on Monday, September 3, 2007. She was born November 5, 1914 in Mason City, IL to Wood and Lura (Lawson) Stovall. She married Thomas Goodin in 1933. Mrs. Goodin is survived by two sons: James L. (Betty) Goodin of Pinson, AL and Lyle Goodin of Titusville, FL; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister: Dolly Bossingham of Delavan, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son: Thomas Goodin, and 12 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Goodin was a member of the Methodist Church and the Ladies of the Moose Lodge. She worked in the banking industry as well as at J.C. Penney in Pekin, IL. Graveside services will be held at Mason City Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2007. Rev. Stephen King will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
