Flloyd Harold Griffin (1922-2008) Flloyd Harold Griffin, 86, of Topeka died at 12:00pm, December 7, 2008 at the Mason City Area Nursing Home. He was born March 27, 1922 the son of Jacob and Louise (Daniel) Griffin in rural San Jose. Mr. Griffin is survived by three nieces: Laura Griffin of Lincoln, Marjorie Ellen Griffin (David) of Lincoln, Nancy Ann Johnson of Washington; one sister Hallie Eileen Johnson of Peoria. He is preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Mr. Griffin was a member of the Army Air Corp during WWII. He was a handyman and a caregiver for his mother until her death. Services for Mr. Griffin will be held at a later date, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be sent to Mason District Hospital or Mason City Area Nursing Home.
