Frances M. Eddy

1921 - 2008

Frances M. Eddy, 86, of Havana, formerly of Mason City and Bath, passed away at 12:01 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Mason District Hospital in Havana. She was born November 13, 1921 in Bath, IL to Willis and Rhoda (Turner) Parrott. She married Ernest B. Eddy on June 29, 1947 in Bath.  He preceded her in death on November 2, 2001.

Mrs. Eddy is survived by one son: David B. (Nancy Ann) Eddy of Mason City and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Eddy was a member of the 1^st Baptist Church of Havana and a former member of the Kum Join Us Club in Bath. After finishing her nurses training in Springfield, she worked as an LPN at Mason District Hospital in Havana for several years.

Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana in Friday, September 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services. Pastor Dave Byrd will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Bath Cemetery.
