Frances Irene Melton

Easton, IL – Frances Irene Melton,
88, of Easton
passed away at 1:30 am Wed. Oct. 19, 2011 a the
Mason City Area Nursing Home. She was
born March 13, 1923
in Manito the daughter of Jesse Guy and Frances Iona (Friend)
Tisdale. She
married Forrest Melton May
4, 1940 in
DesMoines, IA and he preceded her in death in
June of
1997.
Mrs. Melton was of the
Christian faith.
She is survived by two sisters;
Marjorie (Melvin) Taylor of
Pekin, Carol E. (Walter) Henninger of Easton, one brother;
Norman Tisdale
of Manito, nine step grandchildren, and several step great grandchildren.
Services will be held at
11:00 am Saturday, Oct. 22,
2011 at the Hurley Funeral Home in
Havana conducted by Rev. Lauren Padgett.
Entombment will follow in the
Laurel Hill Mausoleum in Havana.
Visitation will be held one
hour prior to the service
on Saturday at the funeral home.
