Frank R. "Dick" Row

(1932-2005)

Dick Row of Havana, died 8:14 a.m. Saturday, 14 May 2005 at Graham Hospital in Canton.  He was born 5 December 1932 in Fulton County, IL to Frank and Florence Maurine (Green) Row.  He married Martha Ann Brown 24 March 1978 in St. David, IL. He first married Daisy Mae Meyers.  She preceded him in death in 1976.

Survivors include his wife, mother, 2 sons: Stanley Kirk Row of Baraboo, Wisconsin and Daniel L. Row of Tennessee, IL; step-son: Randy Shepler of Colchester, IL; daughter:  Rita J. Burks of Tennessee, IL; step-daughter: Ellen Shepler VanNatta of Colchester, IL; daughter-in-law:  Cherry Shepler of Colchester, IL; 4 brothers: Joe Row and Bill Row of Havana, IL; Donald Row of Missouri and Robert Row of Colorado Springs, Co., 2 sisters: Nina Turner of St. David, IL and Carolyn Peridi of Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was preceded in death by daughter: Debra Kay Row; step-son: Danny J. Shepler; 2 sisters and one granddaughter.

Mr. Row worked for International Harvester in Canton later becoming Navistar International as a machine operator until he retired in 1992.  He was also a volunteer fire fighter for the St. David Fire Department.

Graveside services for Mr. Row will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, 19 May 2005 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana, IL.  A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
