Frank M. Budyn

 1946 - 2011

Frank M. Budyn, 64, a lifelong resident of Havana, IL passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at his home.  He was born November 26, 1946 in Havana, IL to Frank and Florene (Burgett) Budyn.  He married Sandra Belcher on April 1, 1981 and she survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Carrie Anne Budyn and one son Jeffery W. Norton; two granddaughters, Allison Norton and Chloee Norton, and one grandson, Jason Norton; one sister, Ruth Budyn of Havana and two brothers, Stanley (Edie) Budyn of Topeka, and James (Lori) Budyn of Jacksonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond and Thomas.

He retired from Caterpillar in July of 2009 after 42 years of service. He was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the U.S. Navy and a life long member of the Havana VFW Post #6408. He was also a member of Mohammed Shrine of Peoria, IL. Mr. Budyn was an avid NASCAR fan and loved the STL Cardinals.

Cremation rights have been accorded and celebration of life will be held at the VFW for family and friends at 1pm on Saturday, November 12^th, 2011.
