Frank Clifford Bellrose Sr., 88, of Havana, died February 19, 2005 at OSF Sr. Frances in Peoria IL. He was born on August 20, 1916 to Frank C. Bellrose and Honora Munton. He married Ester Smith on June 2, 1940 in Ladd IL. She survives.
He was retired from being a Research Biologist at the Illinois Natural History Survey after sixty years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Havana. He was also a member of the Havana Rotary Club, as well as American Union and Wildlife Society. Mr. Bellrose lived in Havana since 1938 and was well known for his several books on Ducks and Birds.
He is survived by two sons-Ronald B.(Sandra)Bellrose of Atlanta IL., and Frank (Rebecca)Bellrose of Pekin IL. He also has four grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by his parents and one brother- Edgar.
There will be no visitation and the Funeral services will be private services.
