Freda Irene Clark 1912 - 2008 Freda Irene Clark 96 of
Jacksonville, IL Formerly of Havana, IL died
at 2:18 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2008 at Passavant Hospital in
Jacksonville. She was
born on January 4,1912 in Bath, Illinois daughter of George and Nettie Allan
Steigleder. She Married Joel Dexter
Sanderson March 11,1955 in Peoria, Illinois, he preceded her in death January
13,1973 she later married Albert E. Clark of
Chanderville in 1987 he preceded her in death September 11,
2002.
Mrs. Clark is survived
by one brother Lloyd Steigleder of Jacksonville, IL. She is also survived by six
nieces.
Barbara Richard of
Chandlerville, II., Peggy Jolly of Bath, II., Mary Carlock(Carroll Jr.) of
Chandlerville, Patsy Crank(Bernard) of Peoria, II., Ruth Fagin(John of Decatur,
II., Melba Turner(David) of Virginia, II., and one Nephew Jeff Steigleder of
Birmingham, Al. She was preceded in death by two brothers Otis and Donald
Steigleder both of Bath, IL. And one sister Nola Steigleder ,who died in
infancy. She was
employed by Carson's
Pierre Scott and company as a clerical clerk from which she retired. Mrs. Clark
was a graduate of Bath High School. Mrs. Clark was a member of the united
Methodist church at Bath
and later joined the
Bethel Baptist church.
Mrs. Clark had a great
love for music and enjoyed performing by singing and playing the guitar and
mandolin.
Funeral services will be held at the Lintner-Hurley
Funeral Home in Chandlerville on Monday April 7, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. with
visitation one hour prior to the services. Rev. Duane Turley will officiate.
Burial will follow the services at Bath Cemetery.
