Genevieve Damon

Genevieve Damon, 93, of Havana, passed away at 11:04 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born September 17, 1917 in Davenport, IA to Lloyd and Lillian (Coppenbarger) Thompson.

Mrs. Damon is survived by one daughter, Susan S. Damon of Garden Grove, CA, six sisters, Geraldine, Rosalee, Sandra, Ellen, Karen and Donna and two brothers, Larry and Ronnie Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Damon was a member of the 1^st Baptist Church of Havana and Eastern Star.

Memorial services will be held at the 1^st Baptist Church of Havana at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2011. Rev. Daniel Swihart will officiate.
