Glenn Edwin Ruppel

Glenn Edwin Ruppel, 75, of Springfield, died on March 23, 2006 at St. John's Hospital. He was born on August 12, 1930 in Petersburg, IL to Edwin and Frieda Jurgens Ruppel. He married Glenda Babington on June 22, 1963 in Johnston City, IL. She survives.

He is survived his wife, Glenda Ruppel of Springfield; two brothers, Russel (Frances) Ruppel of Tallula, and Richard (Idella) Ruppel of Chandlerville; and Shirley Pritchett of Granger, Indiana.

He was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He had been a farmer in Cass County, IL. 

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 26, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 25, 2006 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Burial will be on Monday, March 27, 2006 in Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City, IL.
