Gwendola Maye Hullinger

Gwendola Maye Hullinger, 78, of Tallula, IL died at 7:55 p..m. , Saturday, January 28, 2006 at her residence . She was born May 10, 1927 to Everett and Ressie Roate Surratt. She married Murle Hullinger on April 17, 1945 in Winchester. 

Mrs. Hullinger is survived by her husband Murle, four daughters Sharon (Wilbur) Shoemaker of Chandlerville, Joyce (Johnny) Brumelow of Tallula, Connie (Butch) Grogan of Tallula, and Lana  Potter of Tallula, one son Murle (Sue) Hullinger of Tallula, seven grandchildren, six great  grandchildren, one brother Wendell (Rosemary) Surratt of Rushville, four siters Fern Tarr of Jacksonville, Selma (ray) Dockum of Grand Island, Neb., Lorinda (Art) brewer of Lake Site, TN, and Patsy (Warren) Dodds of Frederick, IL.She was preceded in death by a daughter, and one sister.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Tallula. She had been an assembler for Sangamo Electric Company. She retired from New Salem State Souvenir Shop.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be on Tuesday night from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Rev. Dale Sinclair will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Tallula.
