Harold Hinrichs

(1918 - 2005)

PETERSBURG — Harold Russell Hinrichs, 87, of Petersburg died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Menard Convalescent Center in Petersburg.

       He was born Jan. 2, 1918, in Chandlerville, the son of Carl Lewis and Elizabeth Markert Hinrichs. He married Virginia Tozer in 1945 in Rock Creek.

      Mr. Hinrichs was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He retired. as a lineman from CIPS. .He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg and a 60-year mernber of American Legion.

      Survivors:  wife, Virginia; daughter, Linda Hinrichs of Galesburg; and two sisters, Laura Delong of Petersburg and Doris Jurgens of Virginia .

      Services:   11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Central Presbyterian Church, Petersburg, the Rev. Julie Peterson officiating. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Petersburg.

      Memorial Contributions may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church.
