Harold W. "Mike" Lynn

(1926 - 2006)    

Harold W. "Mike" Lynn, 79, of Oakford, died on August 21, 2006 at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. He was born on December 16, 1926 in Oakford, IL to Samaul and Alberta Reitzel Lynn. He married Norma Cohneour in 1960 in Havana, IL. She survives.    

Also surviving are two sons, Gary B. Lynn of Oakford, and Dennis W. Lynn also of Oakford; one daughter, Tammy R. McBride of Oakford; two brothers, Jerry (Donna) Lynn of Oakford, and Joe (Valerie) Lynn of Washington, IL; four sisters, Loretta (Clifford) Klauzer of Oakford, Helen Whitehead also of Oakford, Nancy (Dick) Schafer of Washington, IL, and Betty (Bob) Lynn of Kilbourne; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Lynn retired from Stroh and Anderson Ready Mix in Petersburg.

 Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Oakford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association.
