Harold L. Curry 1942 - 2006 Harold L. Curry, 64, of Springfield, died at 7:06 a.m. Friday September 29, 2006, at his home. He was born February 9, 1942 in Springfield, the son of Ben and Roberta Taapken Curry. He is survived by his fiancée Betty Jo Hasara of Springfield, two daughters, Jennifer Sullivan, and Lori (husband Paul) Smith, both of Chicago; his mother Roberta Curry of Petersburg, one sister Betty Ames of Petersburg, and one brother Russell (Virginia Carleson) Curry of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Mr. Curry was a member of Havana Mason lodge 88 AF&AM. He also served in the Army National Guard. Mr. Curry was retired and also worked as a part time sales rep for Heubner Tires. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday October 2, 2006 at Hurley funeral Home in Petersburg, where Visitation will two hours prior to service time. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Bill Lindsey. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.
