Hazel J. Frick (1920 - 2005) Hazel J. Frick, 84, of Petersburg, died September 10, 2005 at Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg. She was born on December 5, 1920 to Joseph and Edna Copher Pickrell. She married John R. Frick on May 6, 1948 in Petersburg. He died April 21, 1984. She was retired from Sangamo Electric in Springfield after 32 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post # 198, VFW Post #6871, Menard County Color Guard, Sangamon Valley Waves, and the Women's Overseas Service League. She is survived by one brother, Joseph leo Pickrell of Colorado, one sister Lillie Lavon of Colorado, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 9:30 am at the Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2005 from 5-7pm also at the Hurley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Camp Butler National Cemetery in Springfield, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Menard County Color Guard. |
