Grandma Hazel - We want to mention how blessed we were to have had the opportunity to know you these past 23 years. We loved you very, very much. We have so many good memories of visiting you in Florida, and having you visit us in New Hampshire. Thank you for all the love you gave us, and all you did for us. We will miss you, but are glad that you are at peace now. Please give Grandpa a hug from us. -from Lisa, David and Katy Ambrosio (Chavers)
Hazel was a loving wife to my father, William Clair Steele, to my children, her step-grandchildren, David and Lisa.; her step-granddaughters, Katy and Cheyenne, and to me, who she refered to as her daughter, and my husband, Dick. We treasure the twenty plus years that we knew her. We had many wonderful times in Florida, North Carolina, Indiana and New Hampshire. She was full of fun, referred to herself as "Fluffy," and she made the best pies and potato salad we've ever tasted. Hazel and Dad gave me the link to my early years and I am grateful for that knowledge and heritage. She and Dad filled in the pieces for which we will always be grateful. We all loved her dearly. She is now in a better place, free of pain and reunited with loved ones. God bless her! - Bernice and Dick Chavers
