Helen Louise Rainey

Helen Louise Rainey, 66, of Petersburg, died on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 9:15 am at Menard Convalescent Center in Petersburg. She was born on August 9, 1942 in Springfield to Jerry and Louise Runkel Atterberry. She married Ronald A. Rainey on July 14, 1983.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald of Petersburg; a daughter, Paulette (Marshall) Wiant of Greenview; and two sisters Linda (Steve) Baughman of Tallula, and Patty (Don) Little of Petersburg.

One sister, Judy Null, preceded her in death.

She was member of the First Baptist Church of Petersburg. She was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2008 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church of Petersburg. Rev. Thomas Eggley will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
